FirstPOINT – information, eligibility and billing administration

FirstPOINT utilizes Empoint’s TPA and Client Administrative portals to consolidate member, eligibility, plan, group, and coverage data. TPA staff control set up of client information, plan building, eligibility rules, pricing information and content management features. Client administrators granted access to their FirstPOINT portal access a number of administrative and communication self-service tools designed to drive down the TPAs internal costs while empowering clients with information. FirstPOINT liberates your eligibility, billing and account management staff by reducing data entry, providing real-time data access and removing account management staff from most low level service inquiries.

ViewPOINT – benefit communication

ViewPOINT extends information created and maintained in FirstPOINT to the member level. TPA members can login with unique passwords and pin numbers, accessing a comprehensive benefit communication portal.

In ViewPOINT, members see timely and relevant information about their benefit programs. InfoSpace, an integral part of the ViewPOINT member dashboard, provides TPAs with a prominent space to communicate customized messages or support cross selling goals of the TPA or TPA broker partners.

MarketPOINT – online enrollment & member self service

MarketPOINT leverages information created and maintained in FirstPOINT and displayed in ViewPOINT to extend transactional capability at the member level. MarketPOINT is deployed on a client-by-client basis and can be utilized throughout the year or solely for open enrollment or new client enrollment activities.

In MarketPOINT, the TPA and TPA client determine the types of transactional capability provided to the member. As part of the member self-service portal, TPAs create customized enrollment wizards that step each member through the election process. Members are prompted to review demographic data, enter dependent and beneficiary information, and make benefit elections. Detailed information on benefit plan options, coverages, and premiums are provided to the member along with an array of decision-support tools and online brochures.

Member initiated requests or changes are date and time stamped and can be routed to a designated administrator for approval. Automated email notifications to the member and administrator are part of the request approval process.
