Empoint is a privately held company located in Birmingham, AL . Empoint employees have an extensive background in the administration and enrollment of group and voluntary employee benefits. Empoint’s industry expertise combined with the experience and knowledge of our technical developers have enabled us to create a technology solution and suite of supporting services that result in satisfied clients.

President, Keith Knowles, has over 15 years of enrollment and benefits administration experience. Keith began in sales and marketing for a southeastern managed care company and later owned a benefit-consulting firm. Keith's experiences assisting employers in employee administration, benefit education, and enrollment directly influenced the formation of Empoint and the functionality within our systems.

Director of Technology, Greg Fuller, has over 20 years experience in enterprise computing. Greg has spent 15+ years working in technology centered organizations specializing in insurance processing for the healthcare industry. Greg most recently worked with the University of Alabama in Birmingham, as a principal designer of a centralized browser based portal for UAB Health System allowing physicians and support staff to access multiple internal systems from a single point and click user interface.

Manager, Client Services, Sharon Chappell, has worked in the insurance industry since 1997 and in the employee benefits arena since 1999. She has experience in various facets of worksite marketing including employer sales, product analysis and placement, and coordination and management of the enrollment process. Sharon graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
